MEET MIKE
A third-generation Michigander, Bouchard’s story is forged in Michigan’s backbone of service. His father, Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, has spent more than 38 years protecting families across Southeast Michigan. After serving in the army during World War II, his grandfather worked for 33 years at General Motors, part of the generation that built America’s “Arsenal of Democracy” and powered Michigan’s middle class, retiring from a facility located in Warren, Michigan.
A graduate of Michigan State University’s ROTC program, Bouchard served in both the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, including missions to the Southern Border and Iraq. He previously served as Chief Operations Officer for a 1,200-soldier infantry battalion in the Michigan Army National Guard, and most recently as a member of a joint task force in the global fight against ISIS, earning the Bronze Star for his leadership.
Now, after nearly a decade in uniform, Mike is stepping up to fight for the communities that built him. Grounded in faith, family, and country, Captain Mike Bouchard represents a new generation of leadership — one that still believes in duty, honor, and discipline.

Economy
Macomb County is the engine of our economy — the Arsenal of Democracy — and a symbol of American strength. We make great things here in Michigan, and we need to keep it that way. Our workers built the middle class, powered American industry, and helped win two world wars.
I support President Trump’s efforts to protect Michigan manufacturing, defend American jobs, and ensure that our workers — not China or Washington bureaucrats — shape the future of our economy. That means bringing manufacturing jobs back home and cutting red tape that crushes small businesses.
When we put American workers first, we build a stronger, more secure future for our families. Together, we can keep building things, creating opportunities, and making America stronger than ever.
Having deployed to the Southern Border during President Trump’s first term, I saw firsthand the sophistication of the cartels that smuggle deadly fentanyl into our country and poison our communities. What I witnessed wasn’t just a crisis — it was a national security emergency. Border Patrol is fighting a battle against well-funded criminal networks, and Washington must give them the tools, technology, and policies they need to win.
I stand for finishing the wall, restoring the “Remain in Mexico” policy, and ending catch-and-release once and for all. We must secure the border, stop the flow of illegal drugs, and deport criminal illegals who endanger our citizens. Security starts with controlling who comes into our country, protecting our communities, and putting American families first.

Our schools are supposed to teach kids the basics — reading, writing, math, and science — and prepare them for the future. But too many schools have lost focus. Test scores are falling, teachers are overwhelmed, and politics have crept into the classroom. That needs to change.
I’ll fight to get our schools back to the basics and make sure every child has the tools to succeed — whether that means learning a trade, going to college, or starting a business.
In Congress, I’ll back a Parents’ Bill of Rights, so moms and dads always have a say in what their kids are being taught. Parents should be partners in education, not kept in the dark.

REPUBLICAN NOMINEE FOR MI-10
Inflation and everyday prices are out of control. Families spend too much of their hard-earned paychecks on essentials.
We need policies that look out for families and lower costs.
Affordability
You paid into these safety-net programs and they need to be there for you.
I will always protect Medicare and Social Security. We need to root out the waste and the fraud that threatens these critical programs.
Medicare & Social Security
I want you to pick the health care that works for you and your family. It should be low cost, high quality, and transparent about what you are paying for.
My opponent wants to pick your health care for you, in a one-size fits all socialist program. It would cost trillions and raise all of our taxes. I want you to pick the health care you want.
The choice couldn’t be clearer.

Lower Gas Prices
End the war, suspend the gas tax, and have more energy independence is the way.
1. End the current conflict with Iran. The first step to lowering gas prices is to end the current conflict with Iran, open up the Straits of Hormuz and get oil delivery flowing across the world.
2. Suspend the state and federal gas tax: Families need relief. We should temporarily suspend the state and federal gas tax to provide lower prices at the pump and lower prices for goods all around.
3. Energy independence: We need to be more energy independent. The current conflict shows that we can’t depend on other areas of the world for oil and gas.
4. Open up more distribution: Open up the Keystone Pipeline, Line 5 and other distribution systems to make oil and petroleum more accessible to refineries.
5. Open up more refineries: We need more refineries producing gas. Refineries are at capacity. We need access to more refineries to make more gas.
6. End the green new deal approach: We need to have an all of the above energy solutions. My opponent agrees with climate changes activists like Jane Fonda who want to eliminate fossil fuels. That’s dangerous, a non-starter and will make prices too high for families.
Lowering gas prices is a good start that will lower all prices. End the war, suspend the gas tax, and have more energy independence is the way.
